The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
One of my many favorite memories of working at Hubly is when I attended a conference with the two Co-Founders, Louis and Ron. While at the conference we went to an offsite networking event. We arrived a bit late and everyone was sitting around talking. However, when we got there we managed to get everyone up and into the arcade, playing games from our childhood. It was completely spontaneous but somehow all of these other professionals joined in and we had a hilarious time playing air hockey and Mario Kart.
To me that sums up Hubly. Even though we are a technology company we always put people first. We love what we do and we make sure that we have fun doing it.
I really like the Hubly value “speak your truth” because not all organizations provide the opportunity or safe space to speak up. I like that everyone is able to speak their mind honestly because it fosters a culture of idea sharing and provides us with the opportunity to challenge each other constructively. At Hubly, you can say what’s on your mind without feeling the pressure of having to be right or 100% certain. Even if we do say something ridiculous or come up with a brutally terrible idea, we are always able to have a good laugh about it!
Definitely on a mountain somewhere! I live in a mountain town in Canada and so after work I am pretty much always on a mountain either hiking with my dog, mountain biking, or rock climbing.
I’ve travelled to over 40 countries! I’ve been fortunate enough to live abroad a few different times in my life which gave me the ability to travel and see more of the world. I can never answer people when they ask me what my favourite country is though because it is impossible for me to choose. Every country offers their own special thing from culture, people, food, nature, animals, history, and landscape. You just can’t compare one country to another – which is why you have to see them all!
